Dimora Artica presenta FAVOLACCE, prima mostra personale di Pietro Di Corrado (1995), dal titolo ispirato dall'omonimo film dei fratelli D'Innocenzo. In questa occasione l’artista si interroga sulle possibilità del racconto visivo e sul linguaggio pittorico di una immagine, che sia filmica o letteraria, domestica o urbana. Indagando nella pittura e nella scultura il concetto di "cortocircuito temporale", Pietro Di Corrado mette in scena una serie di manufatti figurativi senza figurazioni. Filtrato tutto da un’apparente allegria compositiva che strizza l'occhio al mondo del design e dell'architettura, l'artista vuole celare dei comportamenti umani che scaturiscono dall'esperienza con l'oggetto.
Completata da un wall painting che percorre interamente lo spazio, la mostra unisce alcuni dipinti recenti e la serie di sculture intitolata Summers, ispirata alla credenza popolare per la quale parrebbe che il bambino-adolescente cresca maggiormente nel periodo estivo.

Dimora Artica presents FAVOLACCE, the first solo exhibition by Pietro Di Corrado (1995), with a title inspired by the film of the same name by the D'Innocenzo brothers. On this occasion, the artist questions the possibilities of the visual story and the pictorial language of an image, be it filmic or literary, domestic or urban. Investigating the concept of "temporal short circuit" in painting and sculpture, Pietro Di Corrado stages a series of figurative artefacts without figurations. Filtered all by an apparent compositional joy that winks at the world of design and architecture, the artist wants to conceal human behaviors that arise from the experience with the object.
Completed by a wall painting that covers the entire space, the exhibition combines some recent paintings and the series of sculptures entitled Summers, inspired by the popular belief that it seems that the child-adolescent grows up more in the summer.
