La Galleria Swing è lieta di annunciare l’opening di EXTRASwing.
EXTRASwing è una nuova sezione della Galleria Swing che affiancherà il programma espositivo con piccole produzioni, industriali o in limited edition, realizzate da designer provenienti da tutto il mondo. Il primo evento di EXTRASwing presenta AIR VASE dei giapponesi Torafu Architects.
Fondato nel 2004 con una dedizione al design architettonico, lo studio di Tokyo Torafu Architects ha poi ampliato la propria ricerca verso interior e product design. I Torafu Architects sono Koichi Suzuno e Shinya Kamuro.
AIR VASE è un disco piatto in carta leggera e sottile che può essere modulata in differenti forme. Il risultato è un vaso tridimensionale e bicolore. La variazione dei colori tra interno ed esterno della carta, conferisce al vaso differenti tonalità a seconda del punto di vista dell’osservatore.
AIR VASE è prodotto da Kami no Kousakujo, una giovane azienda giapponese specializzata dal 2006 nella realizzazione di innovative creazioni in carta.

Swing Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of EXTRASwing.
EXTRASwing is a new section of the Swing Gallery, which will be featuring, in addition to the regular exhibition programme, small productions of industrial design or limited edition by worldwide designers. The first event of EXTRASwing presents AIR VASE by JapaneseTorafu Architects. Started in 2004 with a focus on architectural design, the Tokyo-based studio Torafu Architects has then moved its research to interior and product design.
Torafu Architects is run by Koichi Suzuno and Shinya Kamuro.
AIR VASE is a flat disc of thin and lightweight paper that can be stretched into different shapes. The result is a three-dimensional and two-coloured vase. The different inside and outside colours of the paper gives the vase different shades when viewed from different angles.
AIR VASE is produced by Kami no Kousakujo, a young Japanese company specialized since 2006 in the creation of innovative paper works.
