Dopo 10 anni di attività nell’Arte, Street Art e Arte Pubblica il progetto MURo si racconta e lo fa attraverso 3 incontri, 2 rassegne di documentari, 1 workshop, 1 mostra e 1 nuovo progetto di Urban Art con 6 nuovi murales.

Dopo 10 anni di attività nell'Arte, Street Art e Arte Pubblica il progetto MURo si racconta e lo fa attraverso 3 incontri, 2 rassegne di documentari, 1 workshop, 1 mostra e 1 nuovo progetto di Urban Art con 6 nuovi murales.
Nei weekend dell'11 e del 18 e 19 maggio al MACRO - Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Roma Asilo in particolare avremo tre appuntamenti costituiti da 3 rassegne documentaristiche e 3 incontri tra cui 2 tavole rotonde, per scoprire i protagonisti di:
- GRAArt (17 murales realizzati attorno al GRA tra il 2016 e il 2018, prodotti da ANAS)
- Muro mARkeT (i 6 nuovi murales realizzati dal MURo in collaborazione con il VII Municipio di Roma Capitale)
- MURO (la serie tv in 15 episodi che documenta la realizzazione di vari murales in Italia, coprodotta da Sky Arte e Level 33).
Durante gli incontri dell'11 e del 18 maggio si terranno 2 tavole rotonde che affronteranno le tematiche legate al rapporto tra città e Arte Pubblica, tra istituzioni e artisti, tra committenza e conservazione dell’opera d’Arte Urbana con tanti ospiti e tanti amici del MURo.
Il 9 giugno 2019 poi, all’interno del ricco programma del MURo Festival, andrà in scena MURo Festival OFF/Topic, un pomeriggio in cui, partendo dall’opera di Arte Urbana "Enea, Anchise, e..." - realizzata da David Diavù Vecchiato nell'ambito del progetto GRAArt, e dal documentario "Questo insensato desiderio di luce" che ne racconta la genesi - si andrà ad approfondire il tema del diritto alla libertà di movimento e di migrazione. Artisti ed intellettuali scendono in campo per chiedere conto di questo fenomeno e dei suoi drammatici sviluppi, a chi di migrazioni ne sa più di loro.

After 10 years of Art, Street Art and Public Art activities, the MURo project wants to share their experience with the audience through a series of panel discussions, 2 reviews of documentaries, 1 workshop, 1 exhibit and 1 brand-new Urban Art project with 6 new murals!
In the weekends of 11th, 12th and 18th, 19th of May at the MACRO - Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Roma Asilo, we will have four encounters in which we review 3 documentary series and have 4 panel discussions, to discover the protagonists of:
- GRAArt (17 murals realized on the GRA between 2016 and 2018, a product by ANAS)
- MURo mARkeT (the 6 new murals realized by MURo in collaboration with the ‘VII Municipio’ of the Roman Capital)
- MURO (the TV-series of 15 episodes which presents the realization of various murals in Italy, co-produced by Sky Arte and Level 33)
During the panel discussions we tackle issues related to the relationship between the city and Public Art, between institutions and artists, between clients and preservation of Urban Artworks with special guests and many friends of MURo.
The 9th of June, the rich program of the MURo Festival will be supplemented with the MURo Festival OFF/Topic. An afternoon in which, departing from the Urban Artwork “Enea, Anchise, e…” – realised by David Diavù Vecchiato for the GRAArt project, and the documentary “Questo insensato desiderio di luce" that tells the Genesis – we will explore the theme of the right of freedom of movement and migration. Artist and intellectuals explored the field to ask account of this phenomenon and its dramatic developments from those who experienced migration first-hand.
