Giuseppe Ducrot (Rome, 1966) has made an exhibition of large ceramic and bronze sculptures, images of Hercules, Roman emperors, knights in armour, Baroque-inspired river gods, and a fantastical architectural portal. His work roots itself in the rich artistic traditions of Italian visual culture, and places itself in a sculptural continuum from Ancient Roman and Medieval iconography, through the Baroque and Neo-Classical to the present.
