Comunicato stampa

The event will be presented by curators Eva Franch i Gilabert, Mireia Luzárraga, and Alejandro Muiño and by commissioner the Institut Ramon Llull on Thursday, May 8, from 4 PM – 5 PM at Docks Cantieri Cucchini (San Pietro di Castello 40A, Venezia).

Catalonia in Venice_ Water Parliaments: Projective Ecosocial Architectures is a visionary project led by curators Eva Franch i Gilabert, Mireia Luzárraga, and Alejandro Muiño and commissioned by the Institut Ramon Llull. The project delves into the critical role of water as a vital resource and cultural agent, addressing the global climate crisis through the lens of architecture, interdisciplinary research, and innovative design.

Institut Ramon Llull, a public institution dedicated to promoting the Catalan language and culture internationally, invites global audiences to engage with Water Parliaments at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia and to join the conversation about sustainable futures and the critical role of water in shaping them.
