Quarta edizione di Carrara Studi Aperti. Verranno aperte al pubblico le porte di ca. 60 studi /laboratori d’artista.

In un unico weekend offriremo la possibilità di visitare le opere d’arte di più di 180 artisti nei propri
studi, ateliers, laboratori situati, dal mare ai monti, all'interno del comune di Carrara.
Un principio basato su un modello diffuso in tante città d’Europa ( “open studios”, “portes ouvertes”) che consente di accedere a quei luoghi solitamente riservati e talvolta nascosti, luoghi intimi di creazione.
Carrara Studi Aperti vede la partecipazione di una grande varietà di artisti: scultori, pittori, grafici, ceramisti, fotografi, designer, architetti, giovani emergenti ed artisti affermati di ogni parte del mondo. Grazie alla sua formula ampia e aperta la manifestazione si rivolge a chiunque, dal profano al curioso, dal piccolo al grande, dall'amante al collezionista d’arte.
Un vivaio meraviglioso che mette in luce la grande presenza di artisti su un territorio unico al mondo, la città di Carrara.
La volontà dei partecipanti, la semplicità e l’efficacia del metodo organizzativo ne garantisce il successo dal 2013.
Ringraziamo tutti quelli che hanno reso possibile questa impresa e ci auguriamo di migliorare e resistere, anno dopo anno.

Il sito:
A differenza dell'evento, che ha una durata di soli 2 giorni, il sito www.carrarastudiaperti.it è una piattaforma che per tutto l’anno presenta gli artisti che aderiscono alla manifestazione.
I visitatori hanno la possibilità di informarmi sugli studi e sui rispettivi artisti. Per ogni studio sono presenti una scheda fotografica, resa possibile dal contributo dei nostri fotografi, e i dati di ogni partecipante per permettere un contatto diretto con l’artista che vi interessa, sia telefonico che di email.
Il sito sarà costantemente aggiornato e col tempo vuole diventare una piattaforma che offra la possibilità di rimanere costantemente in contatto con gli artisti presenti sul territorio di Carrara.

L’evento:
3000 mappe disposti nei laboratorio per i visitatori forniscono al loro interno una precisa segnalazione di ogni partecipante e ogni studio, ben riconoscibile della targa studi aperti.
La stessa targa in marmo si trova esposto all'esterno di ogni atelier. Nella giornata di sabato vari studi rimangono aperti fin alle 24 e sono segnalati con il simbolo + accanto al loro nome sulla mappa cartacea.
Sul sito e su Facebook verranno segnalate le varie iniziative collaterali degli studi partecipanti.

Come Arrivare:
Quest'anno un servizio di bus navetta con due punti di partenza distinti aiuterà le persone in una visita guidata di alcuni degli studi partecipanti.
-bus zona nord: partirà dall'ex ospedale civico di Carrara, piazza Sacco Vanzetti
- bus zona sud: partirà dall'ex tribunale in piazza San Martino
tutto il resto è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi

Si parcheggia gratis anche nelle zone blu da sabato ore 13 a lunedì ore 8.

Tutti locali, ristoranti, bar segnalati all'interno della mappe vi aspettano per Carrara Studi Aperti e sono direttamente sponsor dell'evento, facilmente riconoscibile attraverso l’adesivo “artist friendly”

In Carrara, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June 2017, will be held the fourth edition of Carrara Studi Aperti. The doors of 60 studios / artists' workshops will be opened to the public.

In a single weekend we will offer the chance to visit the works of art by more than 180 artists in their own studios, workshops, laboratories, located from the sea to the mountains, in the town of Carrara.
A principle based on a common model in many European cities ( "open studios", "Portes ouvertes") that provides access to those places usually reserved and sometimes hidden; intimate places of creation.
Carrara Studi Aperti is attended by a variety of artists such as sculptors, painters, graphics, ceramists, photographers, designers, architects, emerging and established artists from all over the world. Due to its wide open formula, the event is open to everyone, from the profane to the curious, from the lover to the art collector.
A wonderful hatchery that highlights the large number of artists on a unique territory, the city of Carrara.
The will of the participants, the simplicity and effectiveness of the organizational approach guarantees a perfect success from 2013.

The Website
Unlike the event, which lasts just two days, the “www.carrarastudiaperti.it” site is a platform that promotes, for the whole year all artists participating in the event.
Visitors have the opportunity to find out about the studios and their respective artists.

For each studio there is a photo gallery, made possible by the contribution of our photographers, and the data for each participant to allow direct contact with the artist that interests you, either by telephone or email or personal website. The site will be constantly updated and eventually wants to become a platform that offers the possibility to stay constantly in touch with the artists present on Carrara’s territory.

The Event
3000 maps are provided for all visitors in the laboratories to guarantee an exact indication of each participant and studio, recognizable by a Carrara Studi Aperti plate.
The same marble plaque is exposed on the outside of each workshop.
On Saturday, various studies remain open until midnight and are marked with the + symbol next to their name on the paper map. On the website, and on Facebook we will notify you of the various side events of the participating studios.

How to get there
This year, a bus service with two different starting points will help people on a guided tour of some of the participating venues.
-bus north: leave from the former city hospital Carrara Square Sacco Vanzetti
- bus south: leave from the former courthouse in Piazza San Martino
everything else is within walking distance

It is also free parking in the blue zones from Saturday after 01:00PM to Monday 8AM.
