La Mia Scuola di Architettura *

ar/ge kunst eröffnet das Programm von 2015 mit einer Präsentation von Andreas Pichler (1967, Bozen).
Der Regisseur präsentiert eine Einführung in seine Arbeitsweise, in der er den Schwerpunkt auf die Rolle der Landschaft, insbesondere die in Südtirol, legt. Durch eine Kombination von Filmmaterial und Erzählung reflektiert Pichler über die Beziehungen von Ort – Gemeinschaft – Erzählung in seinem Werk.

Andreas Pichler ist ein Regisseur und Verfasser von zahlreichen Dokumentarfilmen in Italien, Deutschland, Österreich und Frankreich, die unter anderem von ARTE, RAI Cinema, ZDF und ORF koproduziert wurden. Zu seinen kürzlich erschienenen Produktionen gehören Europe for sale (2014), Die Akte Pasolini (2013) und Das Venedig Prinzip (2012), der als bester Dokumentarfilm beim London Open City Festival und beim Cinemaambiente Turin prämiert wurde.

* La Mia Scuola di Architettura übernimmt den Titel einer Foto-Serie des Künstlers und "Anarchitekten" Gianni Pettena, in der er die Landschaft der Dolomiten rund um Bozen darstellt. Diese Serie von unregelmäßigen öffentlichen Präsentationen beschäftigt sich mit einer Idee von Landschaft, die Einfluss hat auf die Bildung eines Individuums, als Künstler und Einwohner, und somit auch auf das Gefüge einer gesamten Gemeinschaft.
Gleichzeitig regt La Mia Scuola di Architettura einen Denkprozess über mögliche Formate von Wissens-Produktion und -Vermittlung an und weitet diese Idee somit auch auf Erziehung und Schule aus.

La programmazione di ar/ge kunst del 2015 apre con una presentazione di Andreas Pichler.
Il regista introdurrà la propria pratica con attenzione al ruolo che il paesaggio ha esercitato nella sua produzione, in particolare quello del Sudtirolo. Nella sua “lezione” Pichler combinerà estratti filmici e racconto per riflettere sulla relazione luogo – comunità – narrazione che attraversa il suo lavoro.

Andreas Pichler (1967, Bolzano) è regista e autore di numerosi documentari in Italia, Germania, Austria e Francia, co-prodotti, tra gli altri da ARTE, RAI Cinema, ZDF, ORF. Tra le sue più recenti produzioni: Europe for sale (2014), Die Akte Pasolini (2013), Das Venedig Prinzip (2012) premiato come miglior documentario al London Open City Festival e al Cinemaambiente Torino.

* La Mia Scuola di Architettura prende il titolo dalla serie fotografica dell’artista ed “anarchitetto” Gianni Pettena in cui è rappresentato il paesaggio delle Dolomiti che circonda Bolzano. Si tratta di una serie di presentazioni pubbliche irregolari che intende indagare l’idea di paesaggio e l’influenza che esso può avere sulla formazione di un individuo, come artista e cittadino, e quindi sulla costruzione di un’intera comunità.
Allo stesso tempo, in linea con il messaggio di Pettena stesso, La Mia Scuola di Architettura intende portare avanti una riflessione sui possibili formati di produzione e trasmissione di conoscenza, così da espandere l’idea stessa di educazione e scuola.

ar/ge kunst will be opening its program for 2015 with a presentation by Andreas Pichler (1967, Bolzano/Bozen). Pichler presents an introduction to his practice, which lays particular emphasis on the landscape, especially that of the South Tyrol. Through a combination of film material and narration, Pichler reflects on the relationship between place, community and narrative in his work.

Andreas Pichler is a writer and director of documentaries. He has worked in Italy, Germany, Austria and France, co-producing films with broadcasters and production companies such as ARTE, RAI Cinema, ZDF and ORF. Recent productions include Europe for Sale (2014), Die Akte Pasolini (2013) and The Venice Syndrome (2012), which won prizes for best documentary film at the London Open City Festival and Cinemaambiente Turin.

* La Mia Scuola di Architettura is an ad-hoc series of public presentations on the notion of landscape. It takes its name from a series of photographs by artist and ‘anarchitect’ Gianni Pettena – photographs depicting the landscape of the Dolomites around Bolzano/Bozen. La Mia Scuola di Architettura considers the idea of landscape, its influence upon the development of the individual as artist and citizen, and its wider implications for the overall shape of the community. The series stimulates reflection on how knowledge is produced and transmitted, extending this idea to encompass education and schooling.
