Dal 15 marzo al 12 aprile 2014 si terrà a Benevento, presso la Casa di Schiele, la mostra personale di Vincenzo Cosenza dal titolo “Cacciatore di bolle”, progetto ideato e prodotto dalla galleria GiaMaArt studio e curato da Simona Barucco.
L’asimmetria è ciò che determina l’unicità dell’individuo vivente, ne consente la stabilità e la rigenerazione. Un corpo, esteriormente asimmetrico, è come se lasciasse trasparire in superfice parte delle risorse interiori. E’ come se portasse all’esterno il grande messaggio della vita rendendolo visibile e non ignorabile.
Vincenzo Cosenza affronta questo tema con inquietante lucidità
L’uso di pigmenti in polvere e acquerello, olii su tela, carta e tavole ingessate producono uno straniamento nell’osservatore che guarda all’opera cercando una figurazione non ostile, ma restandone subito sconcertato. L’artista non omette ma al contrario esalta, in un continuo gioco di ombre, luci, riflessi, false trasparenze, apparenti cinetismi, le anatomie proiettate al futuro, non più condizionate dall’impossibilità dell’ordine, ma libere e già pronte al passo successivo. L’ibridazione tra naturale e artificiale è una realtà sempre più presente. Ove non arriva l’uomo biologico, arriva l’uomo tecnologico: nei lavori questa dimensione è appena accennata. I piccoli oggetti che “arredano” gli spazi angusti e strettamente circoscritti nei quali gravita e si muove la figura, sono solo un indizio, in una chiave figurativa, di questi nuovi mondi estetici in cui realtà e finzione, artificiale e reale sono separati da un confine sempre più sottile, fino a confondersi in una totale perdita di differenza nella quale è sempre più difficile distinguere l'organico dal postorganico, l'originale dal clonato.

Asymmetry is what determines distinctiveness in a human being. It permits solidity and renewal. A body, asymmetrical outside, let us show through part of its internal resources on the surface. It is as if it brought the message of life outwardly making it visible and not overlooking.
Vincenzo Cosenza faces this theme with disquieting awareness. His use of dust and water colours, oil painting, paper and plaster works, gives alienation to those who look at his works, looking for a non-hostile representation, but being suddenly bewildered. The painter does not omit, but inflames, in a restless play of lights and shadows, false transparencies, unreal movements, anatomies projected to the future, no more influenced by the impossibility of order, but free and ready to the next step. The crossbreeding between natural and artificial worlds is always present. Where the biological man does not arrive, here is the technological one: this condition is slightly present in his works. The small objects , that decorate the small and strictly delimited spaces where the body moves, are just an evidence, in a symbolic way, of these new esthetical worlds where reality and fiction are separated from a slighter border until they mix up in a total loss of difference in which it is more and more difficult to discern the organic from the post-organic, the original from the copy.
