The exhibition is a comprehensive retrospective dedicated to architect Svetlana Kana Radević (1937-2000), one of the most prominent ones in socialist Yugoslavia, famous for her synthesis of local materials and international Brutalist tendencies. The exposition features for the first time a complete collection of anti-fascist memorials, hotels, residential projects, and civic buildings that are among the highlights of her research. A selection of recently-recovered original drawings, photographs, and correspondences from her archive, provides the historical context of this often-overlooked figure.
The exhibition is supported by the President of Montenegro, the Municipality of Podgorica, and numerous private companies from Radević’s hometown of Podgorica.
