La pratica artistica di Kaja Leijon è basata sul meccanismo delle immagini. Fotografie archiviate come ricordi della nostra coscienza.
As the world is getting bigger and bigger, we will be smaller. Even clearer. Rediscovery of something of another world. The foggy and damp. Looking another way. An image captured almost anonymously, challenging and threatening, searching, like an honest gaze to the world. Non-content. An image with so much space reflects the common gradient, awakens and shatters all popular photographic methodologies that try to reflect meaning. Meaning is in the material.
