Cortesi Gallery is pleased to present IL SEGNO E LO SGUARDO, opening next week on Tuesday 27 October 2026 at 6 pm in Milan.

At the heart of the exhibition, a Wunderkammer of drawings and photographs from private collections brings together works by Henri Matisse, Gustav Klimt, Alberto Giacometti, Mario Sironi and Luigi Ghirri, exploring the relationship between artistic gesture and the act of seeing.

In dialogue with works by Piero Dorazio, Fausto Melotti, Gastone Novelli, Giuseppe Santomaso and Ugo Mulas, the exhibition traces affinities between line, matter and image, inviting viewers to discover connections across periods and artistic languages.
