The Dreams of Creation
Igor Eškinja, born in 1975, lives and works in Rijeka, Croatia. Through his research, the artist explores dimensions that go beyond the physical aspects of the artwork, exploring into the realms of the imaginary and the imperceptible.
The Dreams of Creation, organized in collaboration with WIZARD GALLERY, invites us to reflect on the possibility of recognizing, within the spontaneity of an undesired and wild nature, spaces of rebirth and regeneration. In the Christian tradition, the ultimate hope of the faithful is the Heavenly Jerusalem — a marvelous garden-city where peace and harmony between God, humanity, and the cosmos are restored — yet Igor Eškinja leads us into gardens where reconciliation is recreated from what was once despised and rejected.
