La seconda mostra del programma Fine Arts 2012-13 dell’Accademia Britannica, diretto da Jacopo Benci, inaugura venerdì 15 marzo 2013, dalle ore 18.30 alle 0re 21.30, e resterà aperta fino al 23 marzo (lunedì-sabato, ore 16.30-19.00).
La mostra, sostenuta in parte da Edwin Abbey Trust, Australia Council for the Arts, Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec, Creative Scotland, Linbury Trust, presenta nuove opere degli attuali residenti, i pittori Stuart Cumberland (GB), Katy Kirbach (USA) e Arryn Snowball (Australia), il fotografo Felix Davey (GB), la filmmaker Yasmin Fedda (GB/Siria), la scultrice Candida Powell-Williams (GB), e gli architetti Natacha Boucher (Québec) e Tao Sule-DuFour (GB). The second exhibition of the Fine Arts program 2012-13 of the British Academy, directed by Jacopo Benci, opens Friday, March 15, 2013, from 18:30 PM to 21:30 PM and will last until March 23 (Monday-Saturday, 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM) .
The exhibition in part supported by Edwin Abbey Trust, Australia Council for the Arts, the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec, Creative Scotland, Linbury Trust, presents new works of the present residents, painters Stuart Cumberland (GB), Katy Kirbach (USA ) and Arryn Snowball (Australia), photographer Felix Davey (GB), filmmaker Yasmin Fedda (GB / Syria), sculptress CandidaPowell-Williams (GB), and architects Natacha Boucher (Québec) and Tao Sule-Dufour (GB). The variety of backgrounds and practices of artists and architects reflect the high level, the multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary approach that distinguish the activities of the British Academy.
