Magazzino è lieta di presentare Encore Plus, secondo step della mostra in corso da Dicembre 2012 e che resterà visibile fino all a fine di Febbraio 2013. La mostra è concepita per essere una sorta di best of delle attività dell’ultimo anno e mezzo, includendo opere dei nostri artisti che siano transitate in Musei ed Istituzioni, italiane e straniere, nell’ambito di mostre personali e collettive. Da Elisabetta Benassi (MAXXI; Newtopia, Mechelen), Mircea Cantor (Centre Pompidou), Antonio Biasiucci (Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica) e Pedro Cabrita Reis (Museum Leuven, Kunsthalle Hamburg, Museo Berardo), fino a Alberto Garutti (PAC), Gianluca Malgeri (Ambasciata d’Italia, Berlino), Massimo Bartolini (MAXXI), Alessandro Piangiamore (MACRO), Jorge Peris (Muséè du château des ducs de Wurtemberg, Montbéliard) e Jonas Dahlberg (Moderna Museet), la mostra include testimonianze dirette e indirette della visibilità dei nostri artisti nel corso dell’ultima stagione. Facendo il verso al bis che le compagnie teatrali concedono al loro pubblico più affezionato, daremo la possibilità al pubblico romano di vedere opere che al contrario, in quasi nessun caso sono state già viste, proprio perché presentate in occasioni al di fuori della galleria e spesso al di fuori dei confini nazionali.
Magazzino is pleased to announce Encore Plus, the new step of the exhibition that has opened in December 2012 and will last until the end of February 2013. The exhibition is conceived to be a summary of the best of the last year's activities of Magazzino's artists, including works that have been exhibited in Museums and Institutions, both Italian and foreign, within the context of solo and group exhibitions. From Elisabetta Benassi (MAXXI, ‘Newtopia’, Mechelen), Mircea Cantor (Centre Pompidou), Antonio Biasiucci (Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica) and Pedro Cabrita Reis (Museum Leuven, Kunsthalle Hamburg, Museo Berardo), to Alberto Garutti (PAC), Gianluca Malgeri (Italian Embassy, Berlin), Massimo Bartolini (MAXXI), Alessandro Piangiamore (MACRO), Jorge Peris (Muséè du château des ducs de Wurtemberg, Montbéliard) and Jonas Dahlberg (Moderna Museet), the exhibition comprises direct and indirect testimonials of our artists' visibility in the last few years. Playing with the idea of theatrical encores, given to an appreciative audience, we will give the opportunity to the audience in Rome to see works that in almost all cases have not yet been seen here, having been exhibited outside of the gallery and often outside Italy.
