Crëp è un termine Ladino che significa “montagna/roccia” e costituisce il tema di questa ampia mostra collettiva.
Mariano Pichler ha scelto 50 artisti contemporanei che saranno presenti con le loro opere.
La montagna e il paesaggio in quota fanno parte da sempre della storia dell’arte e continuano ad esserlo.
Gli artisti, al di là della loro notorietà, chi in modo seriale, occasionale o per territorialità, hanno affrontato la sfida del mito della Montagna con le più svariate espressività.
La pittura, la scultura, l’acquarello, la fotografia, il video, l’installazione, l’immaterialità, la luce diventano strumento per misurarsi con la vetta e il cielo.

Crëp ist ein Begriff aus dem Ladinischen und bedeutet „Berg/Fels“, und stellt das Leitthema dieser umfangreichen Gruppenausstellung dar. Mariano Pichler hat 50 zeitgenössische Künstler ausgewählt, deren Werke in dieser Ausstellung gezeigt werden. Die Landschaft in den Bergen war immer schon Teil der Kunstgeschichte und ist es weiterhin. Die Künstler, von ihrer Bekanntheit abgesehen, haben sich seriell, sporadisch oder wegen ihrer territorialen Zugehörigkeit mit dem Thema Berg auseinandergesetzt und verschiedenste Ausdrucksformen gefunden. Malerei, Bildhauerei, Aquarell, Fotografie, Installation, Immaterialität und Licht werden zu Werkzeugen mittels derer sie sich mit Gipfeln und dem Himmel messen.

Crëp is a Ladin term meaning "mountain/rock" and is the theme of this large collective exhibition. Mariano Pichler has chosen 50 contemporary artists who will be present with their works. The mountain and the landscape at high altitude have always been part of the history of art and continue to be so. The artists, beyond their notoriety, who in a serial, occasional or territorial way, have faced the challenge of the mountain myth with the most varied expressiveness. Painting, sculpture, watercolor, photography, video, installation, immateriality and light become instruments to measure oneself with the summit and the sky.
