Aridly Abundant works at the intersection between land-based knowledge and contemporary technology. The overarching question for the exhibition asks: What architectural possibilities can emerge when we reimagine arid landscapes as spaces of abundance? The project challenges the perception of arid environments as spaces of scarcity and precarity by uncovering ongoing arid land-based practices that rethink mainstream material practices.
