The word performography is directly related to performance and its definition. When we say performance, our mind perceives an action, motion, or a movement in a certain moment and space. Without contradicting these characteristics, the exhibition will point out another aspect of this temporary art, which is that of a continuity that ensures the longevity of the performance. In addition to the camera, artists have explored capturing performative actions through the act of drawing and the act of painting. The many traces around a performative work turn into a painting where the action constitutes the subject of the work but bringing an aesthetic somehow that belongs only to the performance. The "realization" of the painting is justified by the creation of the performative work at different times, that is, the performance belongs to the past and in a second time comes the painting of its subject with details. Without a performative act that has been carried out before, we cannot have a picture of this kind. Throughout this process, artists have been able to create their paintings like Monet from his magical garden in Giverny (France). As in the case of Monet who before painting created a garden, so their performance archive is nothing but this garden that inspires them every day.

After a long research Two Gullivers have brought a new term, which is Performography. Performography is the graphic trace of performance and is as much about its creation as it is about its exploration and exposure. This neologism proposed by artists refers to performance and is used to describe the art of composing artistic performances. This term results from a long experience of the conception and realization of performative works, from which a number of evidence has been accumulated: drawings, photos, videos, recordings and objects designed and produced for the works. By giving a specific name to these traces of the process and to the archive of the creation of the performance, the aim of the artists is to draw attention once again to the importance of the methods used: the image of the performance as a means of archiving it.

The exhibition will remain open during the period July 19 - September 14, 2022 at the Harabel Exhibition Space (st. Ibrahim Rugova, at Old Villa, in front of One in Bllok, Tirana).

Fjala performografi është e lidhur direkt me performancën dhe përkufizimin e saj. Kur themi performancë mendja na shkon tek një aksion, veprim, arritje apo një lëvizje në një moment dhe hapësirë të caktuar. Pa i kundërshtuar këto karakteristika të saj ekspozita do të vërë në dukje një tjetër aspekt të këtij arti të përkohshëm që është ai i një vazhdimësie që i siguron jetëgjatësinë performancës. Përveç aparatit fotografik apo kameras artistët kanë eksploruar fiksimin e aksioneve performative nëpërmjet aktit të të vizatuarit dhe aktit të të pikturuarit. Gjurmët e shumta rreth një vepre performative kthehen në një tablo ku aksioni përbën subjektin e veprës por duke sjellë një estetikë disi që i takon vetëm performancës. “Realizimi” i tablosë justifikohet me krijimin e veprës performative në kohë të ndryshme, pra performanca i përket të kaluarës dhe në një kohë të dytë vjen pikturimi i subjektit të saj me detaje të hollësishme. Pa një akt performativ të realizuar më përpara nuk mund të kemi një tablo të llojit të tillë. Gjatë gjithë këtij procesi artistët kanë mundur të realizojnë tablotë e tyre si Monet nga kopshti i tij magjik në Giverny (France). Ashtu si në rastin e Monet që përpara se të pikturonte krijoi një kopsht, , ashtu edhe arkiva e tyre e performancës s’është gjë tjetër veçse ky kopsht që i frymëzon çdo ditë.

Pas një hulumtimi të gjatë Dy Guliverët kanë sjellë një term të ri, që është Performografia. Performografia është gjurma grafike e performancës dhe ka të bëjë me krijimin e saj po aq sa edhe me eksplorimin dhe ekspozimin e saj. Ky neologjizëm i propozuar nga artistët, i referohet performancës dhe përdoret për të përshkruar artin e kompozimit të performancave artistike. Ky term rezulton nga një përvojë e gjatë konceptimi dhe realizimi të veprave performuese, nga të cilat janë grumbulluar një sasi gjurmësh: vizatime, foto, video, inçizime dhe objekte të projektuara dhe të prodhuara për veprat. Duke i dhënë një emër specifik gjurmëve të procesit dhe arkivit të krijimit të performancës, synimi i artistëve është të tërheqin vëmendjen edhe një herë për rëndësinë e metodave të përdorura: imazhin e performancës si mjet për arkivimin e tij.
Ekspozita do të qëndrojë e hapur përgjatë periudhës 19 korrik – 14 shtator, 2022 te hapësira e ekspozimit të Harabel (rr. Ibrahim Rugova, Vila e vjetër, përballë One në Bllok, Tiranë).
