SACI Gallery is proud to present 'Momenti Instabili': recent works by Pietro Desirò, an emerging Florentine graphic artist who is extending his research in printmaking to include animation and installation.
The abstract compositions of Pietro Desirò can be described as lucid and fairytalelike, using graphic signs on paper to inundate the exhibition space like a high tide that then withdraws slowly, leaving sculptural geometric shapes - usually cubes - behind. From these shapes the artist composes sculptures and skillfully uses graphic signs on his three-dimensional structures so that they seem to materialize from a multitude of printed and painted traces.
