Diango Hernández – Parole

Comunicato stampa

WIZARD GALLERY is pleased to present Parole / Words, Diango Hernández’s eighth solo exhibition with the gallery and the inaugural exhibition at our new space in Milan.

The exhibition brings together recent paintings from Hernández’s ongoing Window series and, for the first time, a new group of sculptures in Carrara marble. Developed through the artist’s concept of Olaismo, the works transform windows, words and everyday images through a visual language based on the repeated form of the wave.

At the centre of the exhibition is the large-scale painting Ventana y lectora / Window and Reader, accompanied by marble sculptures in which words translated into the language of Olaismo move from the written surface into physical space.
