The Andrea Festa Fine Art gallery is pleased to present In Between Times, with new works by Anne Buckwalter and Sinéad Breslin. Opening Tuesday April 18th, from 6 to 9 p.m., critical text written by Gaia Bobò. As the title suggests, the exhibition seeks to emphasise the crystallised atmospheres that inhabit the works of the two artists involved. Through the figurative representation of traditional domestic interiors studded with erotic details (Anne Buckwalter) and portraits in which the individual loses himself between indefinite perspectives and immediate narratives (Sinéad Breslin), the artists activate a frontal attitude towards personal imagination and inner dialogue.
Anne Buckwalter (1987, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA). Currently lives and works in Maine.
Sinéad Breslin (1986, Limerick, Ireland) lives and works between New York and Ireland.
Gaia Bobò (Noto, 1995) is an independent curator based in Rome, currently Curator in Residence at La Quadriennale di Roma.

Opening martedì 18 Aprile dalle 18:00 alle 21:00, testo critico scritto da Gaia Bobò. Come suggerisce il titolo, In Between Times (trad. intervalli, tempi di mezzo, tempi morti) mette l’accento sulle atmosfere cristallizzate che abitano le opere delle due artiste coinvolte. Attraverso la rappresentazione figurativa di interni domestici tradizionali costellati da dettagli erotici (Anne Buckwalter) e ritratti nei quali l’individuo si perde tra prospettive indefinite e narrazioni immediate (Sinéad Breslin) le artiste attivano un atteggiamento frontale rispetto all’immaginario personale e al dialogo interiore.

Sinéad Breslin (1986, Limerick, Ireland) vive e lavora tra New York, NY e l'Irlanda.
Gaia Bobò (Noto, 1995) una curatrice indipendente con base a Roma, attualmente Curatrice in Residenza presso La Quadriennale di Roma.
