55. Biennale – Padiglione lituano

La Lituania collabora con Cipro in un progetto comune che consiste in due distinti padiglioni, entrambi curati da Raimundas Malašauskas.

This year Lithuania collaborate with Cyprus in a joint exhibition project that consist of two distinct national pavilions curated by Raimundas Malašauskas. This innovative way of partecipating at the exhibition has as goal to propose another concept of national presence, by showing a plurinational project that negotiates the meaning of contemporary cosmopolitanism in relation to art and society.
The joint exhibition project, entitled "oO", is being developed by Malašauskas as a large-scale curated exhibition to feature Cypriot and Lithuanian artists, as well as contributions by a number of international artists of different generations.
