For the second consecutive year, VENICE DESIGN will present the latest design developments. During VENICE DESIGN 2017, which will be held from May 13th to November 26th 2017, we would like to show objects and innovative ideas from an international set of designers of diverse cultural backgrounds. Established and emerging designers will show how powerful design can be.

VENICE DESIGN 2017 is a chance for the spectators to see clever, unexpected solutions for the use of space, to build a more conscious relationship with daily surroundings and help to increase the awareness of the extraordinary impact design has on the existence of humans.

Over 50 participants from more than 20 countries will come together to present their ideas and thoughts: from the use of traditional old techniques in modern days to the most innovative technological solutions available.

This exhibition will be held on the ground and first floor of Palazzo Michiel on the Grand Canal in Venice and will, in addition, create a collaboration with about 50 small, independent designers who live and work in Venice.
