Tracey Emin – There Is A Truth

Tracey Emin’s new exhibition in Rome presents a body of work made over the past year in her studios in London and Margate, and includes a monumental bronze sculpture, paintings, and works on paper.

There Is A Truth is a title which attests to the healing power of art in our lives. As Emin says, “That’s a really good metaphor for life; how simple things can be. Cut out the crap, just get on with it. Stop making excuses. See what you have to do. Just see it. Once you see it, then you can do it.”

Both Tracey Emin’s widely acclaimed exhibition currently at Tate Modern in London, and her exhibition at the gallery in Rome, run until 31 August.
