Daria Blum (b.1992) constructs several persona to unfold her artistic practice. Operating at the intersection of film and performance, Blum creates and exploits fictional identities, often appropriated from pop music idols and stereotyped icons. For her solo presentation at Il Colorificio, the artist will exhibit new works, alongside with her most recent production of moving image, expanded through installation-based environments, and demonstrating a certain degree of liveness in Blum’s practice
"That Would Be Me" consists in the sequel of a performative act, happened in April 2018 at Il Colorificio, that anticipated the exhibition. Curated by STIMULI and edited by Il Colorificio, "That Would Be Me" is the first solo show in Italy of the Swiss- born, London-based artist.
