Coline Marotta – Soft landings
La galleria Acappella è lieta di annunciare la prima mostra personale in Italia dell’artista francese Coline Marotta, nata a Marsiglia nel 1991, vive e lavora a Copenhagen.

Drawing from her interest in the ontological, Coline Marotta's gentle expressionist paintings depict a mood of tranquility, comfort, and reconciliation. Her contemplative characters are long-limbed, found in acts of embrace or reaching out, adding a sense of intimacy to the cramped spaces they inhabit. Since receiving her MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2017, Marotta has exhibited in Hong Kong, New York, Copenhagen, London, and elsewhere. Her work is included in public collections such as Statens Kunstfond and in multiple notable private collections.
