Nel linguaggio della danza, con il termine à terre vengono indicati i passi che si eseguono a terra, mentre con en l'air sono indicati quei passi che si eseguono staccandosi da questa.

In occasione della sua personale, Sara Enrico rilegge TILE come uno spazio composto e scandito da linee sulle quali costruire una partitura.

Immaginando tempo e spazio della mostra attraverso una modalità ispirata al linguaggio coreografico, l’artista installa i suoi lavori creando un’interazione tra i lavori stessi e tra questi e il pubblico, il tutto per mezzo di un particolare concetto di performatività dell’opera. I singoli elementi sono infatti concepiti attraverso superfici e volumi che nascondono differenti gradi di un’azione suggerita e a tratti soffocata dalla stratificazione dei passaggi di produzione. Seguendo movimenti di aggiunta e sottrazione, l’artista compie diversi processi di traduzione e trasformazione che, tra il manuale e il digitale, permettono una rilettura materiale e concettuale di idee.

Spesso realizzati come forme tubolari e semplificate, i lavori presentati sono spazi vuoti riempiti, riscritture di oggetti e materiali tratti da ambienti diversi. Presentando caratteri antropomorfi, quasi presenze umane nello spazio, sono corpi in stasi che sollecitano lo sguardo e assumono una forma nuova. Come elementi di scena, le opere creano un contesto entro cui agire e la narrazione inizia dalle loro superfici. Il materiale, la gestualità trattenuta, le stratificazioni, la forma e la collocazione nello spazio si pongono come gli elementi linguistici che ampliano il discorso sull'oggetto da una dimensione visiva ad una tattile e culturale. L'artista prima e lo spettatore poi, attorniano le sculture in un dialogo intimo, creando uno spazio di attesa e di osservazione reciproca.

Into the dance language, the term à terre indicates the steps that are executed on the ground, while en l'air indicates those steps that are performed detaching yourself from the floor.

On the occasion of her solo exhibition, Sara Enrico reinterprets TILE like a space marked by lines on which compose a score.

Imagining time and space of the exhibition being inspired by the choreographic language, the artist has installed her works creating an interaction between every piece and between them and the audience, introducing us to a particular agency of the artworks. These elements are in fact conceived as surfaces and volumes that hide different degrees of actions suggested and sometimes stifled by the stratification of different steps of the production. Following movements of addition and subtraction, the artist performs processes of translation and transformation that allow us, between the manual and digital, a new reading, both material and conceptual, of the ideas.

These works are usually realized as tubular and simplified forms, filled spaces and rewritings of objects taken from different environments. They are bodies in stasis which feature anthropomorphic traits, demanding our gaze to perform a new stance. As elements of a stage, the artworks create a context in which act and the narration begins from their surfaces. Materials, detained gestures, stratifications, shapes and positions within the space are featured as linguistic elements that broaden the thought on the object from a visual approach to a tactile and cultural one. Artist and viewer surround the sculptures in an intimate dialogue, creating a waiting area and a mutual observation.
