Immortalità sta nell’eternità dell’attimo presente, quando ogni pensiero si azzera per far posto al “qui ed ora”, al vuoto che è al tempo stesso tutto e niente: allora l’animale intellettuale si addormenta, la coscienza si attiva, e l’anima umana può assaporare un’estasi senza tempo e spazio. L’arte non può far altro che cercare di imitare quella vibrazione sublime o inseguire faticosamente le immagini che sfuggono come il ricordo di un sogno al mattino. Nei suoi dipinti, Capozzi ritrova la vibrazione interiore, il “salto quantico”, l’energia , cercando di rendere reale ciò che prima era solo una possibilità, distanziandosi e avvicinandosi ai limiti della rappresentazione. Un lavoro all’interno della pittura intesa come spazio, con una conoscenza ed esperienza propria. I lavori di Coccorese, invece, tra fotografia e pittura digitale, cercano di inseguire un’immagine, una rappresentazione di un qualcosa che non esiste nel fisico. È il mondo dei sogni, intesi non come giochi di fantasia ma come immaginazione cosciente, come ricerca interiore, come viaggio all’interno delle simbologie che indicano un percorso di autoconoscenza.

Immortality is the eternity of the present moment, when each thought is cleared to make place for the “here and now”, the void that is everything and nothing at the same time: then the intellectual animal is asleep, consciousness is active, and the human soul can enjoy an ecstasy out of time and space. Art can just try to imitate that sublime vibration or to follow hardly the images that vanish as the memory of a dream in the morning. I n his paintings, Capozzi finds the inner vibration, the “quantum jump”, the energy, trying to make real what was previously only a possibility, distancing and approaching the limits of representation. A work inside the painting as a space, with its own knowledge and experience. The works of Coccorese, instead, between photography and digital painting, try to chase an image, a representation of something that does not exist in the physical dimension. I t’s the world of dreams, intended not as fantasy games but as a conscious imagination, as soul-searching, as a journey inside the symbols that suggest a path of self-knowledge.
