Saudi Arabia’s first national pavilion at the International Architecture Exhibition will explore ‘Spaces in Between’, examining the consequences of rapid urban expansion and considering responses to disjointed and car-dependent neighborhoods. Responding to this state of fragmentation, the pavilion creates spaces of isolation and inclusion, inviting visitors to encounter Saudi cities and experience urban landscapes through visual and aural vignettes.
